We are talking about coming back in the spring when we can make use of everything they have to offer. This KOA is also within 15 or so miles of Luray, New Market, Harrisonburg and Skyline Drive so its a good "base" for site seeing and hiking. The campground also borders the George Washington National Forrest for hiking and animal watching. From what I understand the CG is under new ownership in the past year.

The only complaints were that some of the spaces are tight to get around if people are parked in them and some are really close together. Checked in after hours with no issues. Our HEATED POOL (85°) opens March 21, 2019 Open March 21, 2019 through November 2, 2019. It's not a large site, compact, but with a nice pool, fishing pond, camp store, basic mini golf, ping pong, horseshoes, dog playground, shower facilities (clean with plenty of hot water) and generally level places for your RV. Located... Massanutten Storybook Trail is an easy going stroll leading to one of our favorite overlook spots.
These sites are great for families and offer plenty of room to spread out, put your awning out, and sit around the fire. They will also deliver ice and wood to your site. Great location!In the past we have stayed at other campgrounds in the area but this spot is the best -We will be back to enjoy in the spring.
